Sailingyacht
Steel vessel (France 1986, rebuilt 2009), Trirème, 42 feet, excellent shape, completely armed for world tour (electronic navigations tools, solar panels, wind generator...). 3 double cabins, big sunny wardroom with kitchen, bathroom, large cockpit.
Sailing only San Blas: min. 2 pers., max. 4 pers. - min. 4 days. Discovering the San Blas, sailing from one island to another, or staying longer in a fantastic spot, a lot of great alternatives. To get a global experience of the whole archipelago from west to east of the Kuna territory please plan 12 to 15 days, enough time to make also some nice excursions on Kuna's rivers, inhabited islands or beautiful waterfalls. Embarking and desembarking at Puerto Lindo (bus from and to Panama city) or Porvenir (plane from and to Panama city). On board: basic snorkel equipment (if you can take your own equipment with you, please do so), very good food (french chef), all drinks free (kipping within bounds).
Trip Panama - Colombia: 5-day's trip, leaving from Puerto Lindo early in the morning. Arriving to the San Blas archipelago in the afternoon. Two more days stay in the archipel. Different snorkel spots, visit of islands, opcional visit of an inhabited island guided by a local Kuna friend (how they live, their customs and traditions...). Late afternoon of the 3rd day leaving to Colombia (+/- 40 hours offshore navigation). Last day arriving at Cartagena or Sapzurro before lunch.
Trip Colombia - Panama: 5-day's trip, leaving from Cartagena or Sapzurro in the afternoon. Arriving to the San Blas archipelago after +/- 40 hours offshore navigation. Two more days stay in the archipel. Different snorkel spots, visit of islands, opcional visit of an inhabited island guided by a local Kuna friend (how they live, their customs and traditions...). Last day leaving from the San Blas early in the morning. Arriving at Puerto Lindo before diner.
Any time schedule or route are open to changes if required by weather or sea conditions.
Important:
1. Leaving from Cartagena: you have to deliver your passport to us at least 30 hours before departure so we can arrange paperwork with our agent and the immigration authorities. This means before noon the day before departure day.
2. Arriving at Cartagena: you will get your passport back stamped within +/- 24 hours after arrival. Please do not arrange any travel to early after arrival.
On board: basic snorkel equipment (if you can take your own equipment with you, please do so), very good food (french chef), free drinks: water, tea, coffee, icetea; drinks extra: beer, coke, wine, rum.
Luggage: if possible organize a small bag with the things you will need during those days (T-shirts, towel, swimsuit, sunblock, book, camera, rain jacket or poncho, sweater, sunglasses...) so we can store your big bag in a safe place and leave it there during the whole trip.
